Company Establishment
PT Karya Mega Sarana was originally established as PT Kabel Metal Internusa on 14 March 2007, pursuant to Notarial Deed No. 09 executed by Sri Rahayu, S.H., Notary in Bekasi, Indonesia. The Company's Deed of Establishment was approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia through Decree No. W8-00884 HT.01.01.TH2007 dated 10 April 2007.
The Company's trade name, KAMESA, was subsequently introduced and officially registered with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Indonesia under Trademark Registration No. IDM000246839 on 7 May 2010.
Change of Company Name
On 16 November 2010, the Company officially changed its name from PT Kabel Metal Internusa to PT Karya Mega Sarana, while retaining its well-established trade name, KAMESA. This amendment was executed under Notarial Deed No. 08 prepared by Rosdiana, S.H., Notary in Bekasi.
The amendment to the Articles of Association was approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia through Decree No. AHU-55576.AH.01.02 dated 26 November 2010.
Business Development
During its first five years, KAMESA operated primarily as a trading company, importing and supplying High Voltage Underground Cables (HV UGC), related accessories, Optical Ground Wire (OPGW), and Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) equipment.
In 2012, the Company expanded upstream by establishing its own manufacturing facilities for overhead bare conductors. As part of this strategic transformation, KAMESA obtained its Industrial Business License (Izin Usaha Industri) under License No. 35/32/IU/PMDN/2016, enabling the Company to operate as a fully integrated conductor manufacturer.
Today, PT Karya Mega Sarana manufactures a comprehensive range of high-quality overhead bare conductors for power transmission and distribution networks, serving the requirements of utilities, EPC contractors, and industrial customers throughout Indonesia.
Technology and Certifications
KAMESA has been granted a manufacturing and marketing license by CTC Global Corporation, USA, to produce and supply Aluminum Conductor Composite Core (ACCC®) technology.
The Company has also obtained product certifications from the PLN Certification Center (PUSERTIF), including:
Quality Surveillance System (SPM) Certification
Type Test Certification for ACSR/AS 250
Type Test Certification for ACSR/AS 450
In addition, various KAMESA products have been tested and certified by independent accredited laboratories to ensure compliance with national and international quality standards.

The Company continues to support PT PLN (Persero) and other power utilities in strengthening Indonesia's electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure, particularly for overhead transmission line systems, while contributing to the nation's sustainable energy development.

As part of its commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement, PT Karya Mega Sarana has implemented internationally recognized management systems.
In 2017, the Company was awarded ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
To reinforce its commitment to occupational health and safety, the Company has also obtained:
SMK3 Certification in accordance with Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012, issued by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification issued by MSA Certification.
Furthermore, the Company has implemented an Environmental Management System and achieved ISO 14001:2015 Certification, demonstrating its commitment to environmentally responsible and sustainable manufacturing practices.
